Re: Bilic could resign
dont think you can blame the size of the pitch as surely other grounds have similar size pitches. there is something going on behind the scenes and seems to be a split in the dressing room to get rid of Bilic. strange decisions playing Antonio at right back i know they had a meeting regarding this. other elements we dont have the surprise factor this season. if there are 3 players surrounding Payet surely that means that 2 of our players are unmarked. why are they not offering themselves for a pass. no leadership no commitment and no desire.

My thoughts exactly. I think he may have. I also don't like this
kids to training lark if true.
There is the Bony issue at stoke whereby much resentment has been created by the fact they spunked a truckload weekly on him
(salary wise) and he's done fuck all. Begs the question whether we have the same issue with Zaza - an underlying resentment aside from the fact he's just been inserted as a starter based on his Billy big bollocks standing an an Italian striker of high pedigree. In actuality he's proper better at pizza making based on what I've seen.
There does seem to be some underlying discontent and this has been exacerbated by what Bilic has done to date - playing favorites - indecisiveness - odd selection - not getting a settled team early on (injury excused aside.)
People keep saying he'll get us out of it - well I'm not so sure as a great deal of why we're in this predicament is to a degree is hiss fault. We also don't look as fit in some cases - just wondering if this is an issue given the new surface being so much more expansive.

"if" Slav has lost the dressing room ...
And it is possible....

there will be no coming back from that.

I don't like his body language, not a sign of a confident manager, gives poor interviews. If it weren't for money I think he would walk, the owners will know this anyway.

Is Billic afraid to leave the likes of Adrian,Noble (his captain) & kouyate out of the team!!!.. I think he is!!.... they should be dropped as all 3 a well below par this year

Re: Bilic could resign
Adrian was so slow getting down to that Austin ball that dribbled over the line...he has been out of sorts it's clear to see and should be dropped!!

Yes don't get me wrong I have been wondering myself whether Randolph is the better keeper. He was outstanding last year in the FA Cup run he had, especially against Liverpool at home.

I do think he deserves a run in the PL, however based on the last result Adrian for me was the only one to come out with any credit in the game, so would be odd to make him the one that is dropped.

Marc Boogers dont we have to get shots on target to win. 1 shot on target in 90 mins we are going to win fcuk all.

Dr Moose, that first goal was laughable, Adrian dived in slow motion. If he had saved that then maybe we would of won

Dr Moose 12:38 Tue Sep 27
Re: Bilic could resign
Harsh to drop Adrian when he's exposed by crap defending, as Noble said at the weekend it could have been 6 or 7 had Adrian not made some good saves.

Adrian and Antonio (bar the not tracking his man) are the only players who can come out of the current debacle with any kind of credit for their performances.

It's not all about the saves, the defence have to feel confident in front of the keeper. Maybe Randolph will be better at marshalling them. Not sure if it will work, just throwing it out there. Randolph has been good whenever he has played, certainly no worse than Adrian, deserves his chance.

Re: Bilic could resign
What chance a manager in the middle of his career will stick a metaphorical sign over his head saying "I get myself into shit situations and then quit when I can't handle them"?

There's a slight chance that one at the very beginning might if they decide that managing's not for them, or one at the very end if they think they're past it, but at Bilic's point in his career?

No chance.

Bilic will fight on, and I think we'll end up being glad he did (except for anyone who goes all fordstar over him).

Leroy

Yep, the 20 odd minutes Fernandez has played has convinced you he's the answer for defensive midfield?

Laughable

All about opinions pal, in my opinion Randolph is a better keeper.

There is a malaise at the club, shake it up

You do understand that Tore was Bilic's number one target this summer, right? He doesn't have players forced upon him.

Re: Bilic could resign
I don't think he'll walk, although I wouldn't necessarily blame him if he did.

He's been given a very poor set of tools to do his job. There is in my opinion a lack of direction in the club and its recruitment policy.

We were promised "a team befitting of our new stadium" and it has been filled with bargain bin loans and freebies. Shit like Tore, Zaza and Norveidt are proof of that.

The board knew we had the spotlight on us this season with more than a few upset about our tenancy. Instead, they chose to do everything so publicly and reveal budgets and targets and in the finish we ended up with the "that'll do" options.

The tweets sent out from Browne highlight potentially a bigger problem. The squad aren't performing, yet the kids aren't getting a go. Accrington was their chance, instead we huffed and puffed against a team from three divisions below us. Is that splitting the dressing room?

We looked clueless yesterday. Same old tired routines and plays. We didn't create or exploit space outside their box and there appeared to be little to no communication between the team.

Not covering space in the middle, Noble and Kouyate going in opposite directions. He is supposed to be captain. So far I've seen none of the organisational skills that really impressed me last season.

All in all, Tony Henry, Gold, Sulivan and Brady need to have a long hard look at themselves before looking at Slav.

Re: Bilic could resign
Bilic will believe he can turn things around, and rightly so. I don't want a manager that doesn't believe in himself when things are going wrong. If he has to be sacked then so be it, I'd rather that then him admit defeat and walk.

Dr Moose 5:40 Mon Sep 26
Re: Bilic could resign
Very few managers throw themselves onto their swords now, they wait for the payoff. Roeder made a career out of getting sacked and getting paid off.
